PREFACE

Dear users of Artesanias. Our online shop forms a part of a university project of two students and will be carried out as a “hobby”. The idea to design and create a shop to offer products online came during the experience of a study semester abroad in Mexico. The thought to support local people who actually produce wonderful hand made masterpieces forms the fundament of our idea. Therefore we are proud to be capable of offering many astonishing and unique products which are not available, or if, very expensively, normally. We try to offer our products for relatively low prices to give a broader range of people the opportunity to afford them (view price calculation).

To conclude we wish to do something good and by that support as well our CVs and to gather some experience for our dissertations. Referring to this we have to state that gaining a financial profit out of our activities is NOT an aim and we will not try to achieve one as well.

We are hopeful, that you may enjoy some of our products. You will surely bring a part of fascinating, colourful happiness to your homes.

Our theme: Instead of donating blindly help people in developing countries by giving them a chance to work for themselves by honouring their culture. In this process not just they gain more on a social scale, but you as well. You can give to yourself or your family, friends etc. some fascinating and enjoyable pieces of art.

2. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit Artesanias or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

3. OFFER

Our online offer in Artesanias is not a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation for you to place an offer for our shown products. With your order you give a binding bid for the products you have chosen. We will directly get in contact with you after your order. A purchase contract will be valid with our acceptance of your offer or our delivery of the products you have chosen.

4. YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT

Generally everyone can open up an account at Artesanias, this is especially interesting for our “Advertising campaign”. But If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Artesanias and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

5. ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN

We are very proud of our advertisement system and hope to reach many new customers with that. Still we do not make any guarantee that we offer our advertisement system regularly, even if that is our intention. We grant ourselves the possibility to make chances at any given time like changing the % values of any stages within the system, to cancel the entire system or to replace it by another one at any given time. By participating you agree that we cancel this particular offer at any given time. If cancelled, all outstanding claims at that time will be erased and reduced to 0 and you cannot insist on us continuing to offer our advertisement system.   

6. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER

You can return received products without any reasons to us within two weeks. These two weeks start with you receiving the products and this notice. To use this possibility to return products you can declare this to us within these two weeks and/or send it back within these two weeks. The package has to be returned to Jens Pölling - Vocke. Blumenmorgen 22, 49090 Osnabrück at your own cost after prior notice via E-Mail.

- CONSEQUENCES OF CANCELLATION

In the case of an accepted cancellation both sides have to return their benefits of the contract (Cost for delivery will be deducted of your payment) and if applicable any gains of the deal (Gains of using the product or interests). If you just can return our products in a worse condition we can demand a refund. This does not apply if the worsened condition of the product is of such condition resulting like taking a look at it in a regular shop. Generally you can reduce the risk of us claiming a refund if you do start using a product like an owner would do.

- RETURNS

If you return a part of the package, please reduce the applicable amount of the receipt. You won’t receive a new receipt or voucher for the amount. You will just pay for what you keep. Just return a paid article to us and give us your banking details and we will refund its value.

- IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RETURNS

Our products has to be returned complete and in its original package. The customer will be responsible for the shipping cost. (more information “price calculation”) 

- NOT RETURNABLE

Products, that have been prepared especially for a customer and with his instructions.

7. PACKAGING

To keep our products and its transport relatively cheap (for you) Artesanias might use used packaging materials as well.

8. PAYMMENT

 We hope to introduce other payment methods to you, but for now we can just accept prepayment.

9. COPYRIGHT 

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of  Artesanias (service@artesanias.de).

10. LICENSE AND SITE ACCESS

Artesanias grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of Artesanias. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents: any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices: any derivative use of this site or its contents: any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant: or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Artesanias. All items purchased from Artesanias are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

13. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Artesanias and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Artesanias does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Artesanias itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
